Mega Man celebrates his thirtieth birthday and returns to "Mega Man 11"

If you're a child of the 1980s or early 1990s, then you probably know the good old Mega Man : I grew up with Capcom games. Especially "Mega Man 2" was really exciting. To this day, the game is a classic for me. At that time there were other times, because the difficulty of the mega-man games was considerable. While teenagers today are so to speak waved by the developers everywhere, flew one or the other controller out of frustration in the corner. Mega Man turned 30 this week. To celebrate the anniversary, Capcom had some new announcements ready.

The most important announcement of course is the upcoming game "Mega Man 11". It will be released in late 2018 for both current game consoles and the PC. According to Capcom, the game will retain the classic mega-man virtues. This means you can work up skill deeds, ballgames and tactical bosses. The bosses will be able to take down their weapons / abilities and then use them for themselves.

I do not find the trailer so exciting, you only see relatively little. It is clear that one relies on traditional sidescrolling. Capcom tries to combine elements of retro graphics and modern technology.

In parallel, Capcom has also confirmed that the two collections "Mega Man Legacy Collection" and "Mega Man Legacy Collection 2" in the spring of 2018 for the Nintendo Switch will be filed later. For the PS4, the Xbox One and the PC, the bundles are already available. In addition, Capcom will also launch the eight Mega Man X games in the summer of 2018 for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.

Mega Man – always goes in my opinion. Let's hope that the upcoming collection of "Mega Man X" is technically more solid than the other two releases that suffered from some illnesses – such as the performance and quality of audio playback.
